Alexandra Cooney, Alex to her friends, is the heartbeat behind Yes Dancer, a passionate and wildly ambitious artist who brings light, laughter, and movement wherever she goes. She has built a global career through rigorous training, diverse performance experience, and a joyful, fearless attitude. With over 20 years of professional dance and modeling experience, Alex has worked with major brands, traveled and danced across the globe, and embraced every opportunity to perform, connect, and inspire.
Sheโs graced the covers of international dance costume catalogs, earned the title of Miss Bond girl, and brought her talent to stages and photo shoots from Asia to Africa to Australia to Europe and beyond. From action-packed modeling sessions to underwater photo shoots to writing poetry and even teaching American Sign Language and being an advocate for deaf culture, Alex pours her whole heart and soul into every creative project.
Yes Dancer was born from her belief that life should be lived with purpose, playfulness, and pride. Through this brand, Alex invites dancers and dreamers everywhere to say YESโto movement, to joy, to community, and to the adventure of it all.
